When I first stumbled into the world of finance, I felt like a fish out of water—floundering and out of my element as a first-generation professional. However, I gradually transformed those challenges into opportunities and became deeply involved with a community that supports others like myself. I take great joy in breaking down complex financial concepts into bite-sized pieces, making finance accessible and engaging for fellow first-generation professionals as they navigate their secure financial futures. Beyond finance, my weekends are filled with cozy reading sessions, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen (often leading to humorous culinary disasters), and tending to my garden where I attempt to grow everything from herbs to tomatoes, even if my plants sometimes have a mind of their own. Each of these passions brings a splash of color to my life, helping me unwind after busy weeks.

As someone who truly understands the challenges faced by first-generation professionals in the finance world, I'm eager to share insights and strategies that can empower those in similar situations. I believe financial education should be accessible to everyone, not just those with privilege or family support, and I thrive on simplifying complex financial concepts into relatable, actionable advice—because learning about money doesn't have to be tedious. From budgeting to investing, my goal is to help peers build a solid financial foundation. When I'm not immersed in financial articles, I love cooking and experimenting with unique recipes that connect me to my family's cultural roots, often spending my Sundays in the kitchen with mixed results! I also enjoy binge-watching everything from finance documentaries to heartwarming rom-coms on Netflix, balancing fun and finance as my secret sauce for life. I'm excited to share this journey with all of you!

I’ve always had a deep-seated passion for finance, particularly in helping first-generation professionals navigate the complexities of managing money. I find joy in breaking down intricate financial concepts into easily digestible insights, whether it's addressing the challenges of student loans or exploring retirement savings, empowering my fellow first-gen folks to feel confident in their financial journeys. Outside of finance, I love cooking, where the kitchen becomes my playground, and I enjoy curling up with classic novels on lazy Sundays. I also relish organizing fiercely competitive board game nights with friends, especially when it comes to my Monopoly tactics. Balancing my finance work with these hobbies keeps life exciting and reminds me that our journeys encompass so much more than just numbers on a page.
